If you were expecting a restaurant, market or cafe and landed on a listing in this group, it usually means the original source listed the business under an unusual or mixed category rather than a plain food label. Contact information, address and hours are still pulled from the same public data used across Anaheim and California, so they should be accurate even where the category is not a perfect fit. Because this group spans everything from medical clinics to auto shops to gift stores, there is no single etiquette or norm that applies across it; treat each listing on its own terms and call ahead if the category alone does not tell you what you need to know.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 5 pm–12 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Friendly staff with excellent service. The food is delicious and authentic, and the Japanese sake is also great. This is my second time here, and I’ve had a wonderful experience both times. Highly recommend!

I came to this newly opened izakaya Mori and had a great experience. The interior is very clean, modern, and welcoming. The oden udon was delicious, with a great variety of oden ingredients that made the dish really satisfying. The yakitori was also very good — overall, the seasoning wasn’t too salty, so it was light and easy to enjoy. The tsukune was honestly the worst I’ve ever had, and it tasted like it wasn’t homemade. The shrimp skewer was served without any sauce or seasoning on the side, which made it pretty disappointing. The pork jowl skewer was also surprisingly small — almost half the size of a normal skewer — and the way it was cut made it look like leftovers or like someone had already eaten part of it. At first, I genuinely thought it was unfinished food. The restaurant is very spacious, making it a perfect place for couples, families, or even large groups. However, maybe because the restaurant is so large, the service felt a bit slow. The servers didn’t check on our table very often, and even though it didn’t seem very busy, the overall service pace was still quite slow. A few of the dishes came out much later after we had already finished most of the other food, and

We had a reservation but still had to wait a little bit. There was a convention last weekend so it was understandably packed with people attending fanfest. I'd say maybe we waited 10 minutes at most and then we were seated. Tables are spacious for seating and it was nice. Staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was amazing. We got rounds of sake, skewers of all kinds, and other items. Overall it exceeded expectations.

Mori Izakaya feels like a hidden gem that transports you straight to Japan with its stunning, traditional interior. The atmosphere is incredibly authentic, making it the perfect spot to settle in for a long meal. We loved the variety of yakitori skewers like the chicken shiso, pork jowel, and garlic butter scallops. And the beef and mushroom nabe was the absolute standout. From the crispy ika geso to the comforting katsu don, every dish was prepared with such care and high-quality ingredients! Will visit again!

The service was quick from the start and the atmosphere was really nice. Our waiter was incredibly accommodating answering any questions we had and even providing recommendations that we took into account. The food we ordered was delicious, flavorful and fresh. It arrived at a reasonable time. I highly recommend this place for authentic food. Will definitely be returning :)
